Seibstock Manufaktur mission is to offer people heathy food produced with high-quality and regional raw materials. The manufacture wants to offer local farmers new business opportunities and thus motivate them to live and experience diversity and biodiversity.
This idea should solve one of the most basic problem of the farmers in the Valley of Martell: in case of rain or humidity the harvested strawberries (and in general other berries and fruits) last only 2 to 3 days. This represents a loss in quality and sinking prices. Seibstock Manufaktur can solve this problem by freezing the harvested ripe fruits and using them to prepare and commercialize jams and syrups. : 0 km production (the production hall is in the middle of the cultivation area), CO2-compensation, circular model – and therefore zero waste (Cradle to Cradle), production with renewable energy, health and regionality are at the heart of the business model.
